  • React Native + Godot: Bringing Game Engines to Mobile Apps
A new integration called React Native Godot now makes it possible to embed full 2D and 3D Godot scenes directly inside React Native apps. It runs the Godot engine on its own thread, supports full lifecycle and pause/resume control, and offers complete API access via TypeScript. In short — you can now build mobile apps where game worlds and UI coexist seamlessly, all in a single React Native project.

  • Critical React Native CLI Vulnerability (CVE-2025-11953): What You Need to Know
A new critical RCE vulnerability (CVSS 9.8) has been discovered in the popular @react-native-community/cli package, affecting millions of developers using Metro’s dev server. The flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands on machines running vulnerable versions, turning local development setups into potential attack surfaces.

The issue affects versions 4.8.0 through 20.0.0-alpha.2 of @react-native-community/cli-server-api and has been patched in version 20.0.0. To stay safe, update your RN CLI.
